In the late 1950s, Orville Kositzke had his first taste of authentic Chicago-style pizza and it changed his life. With the help of his brother, “Curly,” Orv started a small take-and-bake shop on Richmond Street in Appleton, Wisconsin. “Orv's Pizza” opened its doors in 1963 and the delightful tradition of this fine pizza is still carried on today.

Just wanted to say thanks for making such an amazing pizza. My wife convinced me to try other brand pizzas to see if any were better than Orv’s. We bought 6 different brands ranging in price from 3 dollars to over 10. Thankfully I also bought 6 Orv’s. Orv’s was better than every other pizza I tried. I'm so mad I didn't just buy 12 Orv’s pepperoni pizzas instead. Lesson learned!”
